Thousands of Bottles of Templeton Rye Spilled On Highway
I swear, if we have a shortage on Templeton Rye now, this guy and I are going to have a problem.
A truck traveling through Missouri carrying about 12,000 bottles of Iowa's favorite whiskey overturned around 5 am. Nobody was injured, but thousands of bottles of Templeton Rye were broken open.
Templeton Rye co-founder Keith Kerkhoff told Springfield News-Leader, "It makes you wonder what else can go wrong in 2020. Thank God, nobody got hurt."
The 4-year whiskey was being shipped from the distribution center in Templeton, IA. The shipment itself was considered a total loss, which was worth about $325,000.
A horrible loss to the whiskey world, but it can be replaced in another 4 years.
