Vandals Using Slingshot Cause Damage in Bettendorf
Police in Bettendorf are warning residents about a slew of vandalism happening in the city by someone using slingshots.
In a Facebook post, police say they think the suspect(s) is/are using a slingshot to shoot marbles through car windows and front windows and the siding of homes.

Here's where the damage happened over the weekend.
The areas of criminal mischief were from:
-6700 block of Jakes Lane (occurred overnight 2/26/21 or 2/27/21)
-1200 block of 23rd Street (Reported immediately after vandalism happened on 02/28/21 at 7:44 p.m.)
-3400 block of Central Avenue (Reported immediately after vandalism happened on 02/28/21 at 7:47 p.m.)
-4300 block of 18th Street (occurred overnight 2/28/21-3/1/21)
-3800 block of Deertrail Road (occurred overnight 2/28/21-3/1/21)
