In many aspects, self-driving cars could be a great idea.  But there are PLENTY of loose ends that need to be tied up before they're available everywhere.

One of those loose ends being...WHAT IF IT GETS PULLED OVER?

A Police Officer in Mountain View, California did just that.  The unnamed Policeman pulled the self-driving car over for going 24 mph in a 35.

However, California state law says self-driving cars can only operate on roads with a 35 mph limit or below and cannot be cited for driving too slow on said roadways.

The owner of the car was not cited and we got a lesson on laws permitting to self-driving cars.
