Whitey’s Closing East Moline and Rock Island Locations Due To COVID-19

UPDATE: The Whitey's location at 1335 Avenue Of The Cities in East Moline and the Rock Island locations closed temporarily after finding out  employees tested positive for the coronavirus.

Whitey's announced on Wednesday that they were informed that an employee at the East Moline and Rock Island locations have tested positive for COVID-19. According to the announcement, employees did not work at the stores since before the weekend and no other employees are showing symptoms.

Both locations are closed for a few days to allow for cleaning and allow other employees to get tested.

All other Whitey's locations will remain open and those who normally go to the East Moline and Rock Island locations should check back soon to see when they reopen.
