Your Chance to Buy Creations From Quad City Artists Happens This Month
If you've been wanting to UP your art game, you'll have the opportunity this month with two exceptionally cool art shows happening in the Quad Cities. Both art shows were canceled because of the pandemic last year, but this month we can peruse the fine art, jewelry, sculptures and more at the fall Beaux Arts Fair and Riverssance in Davenport.
The fall Beaux Arts fair will be held in the Bechtel Plaza at the Figge Art Museum, 225 W. 2nd St., Davenport, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
Admission is free to the Figge Art Museum as well as to the art fair which is a terrific bonus. 42 artists are set to display their wares including hand-woven textiles, paintings, jewelry, pottery, woodworking, sculptures, stained glass and more. There's a children's art area and food vendors as well.
Riverssance will be held in Lindsay Park, Village of East Davenport Saturday, September 18, 2021: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, September 19, 2021: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $4 for adults or $6 for both days.
Riverssance is known throughout the Midwest for its high quality fine art, beautiful outdoor setting and its unique blend of delightful entertainment and delicious food & wine. The Riverssance Festival is a fundraiser for Quad City Arts in support of local and regional visual artists. You'll find music, a children's area, food vendors and art from more than 70 vendors.
