Government Bridge Will Be Closed Saturday
Look for a different route on Saturday. The Government Bridge will be closed June 27.
OurQuadCities.com says the closure is scheduled for 7 am to 7 pm. for roadway maintenance.
No vehicles, pedestrian, rail or river navigation will happen during this time on or around the bridge.
I have friends who live in Rock Island, but walk via the Government Bridge to eat and drink in downtown Davenport. I guess they'll need an UBER this weekend.
