It's the candy we all love to hate. Some love it. Some love to hate it. I personally can take it or leave it. I'm talking about candy corn.

According to KWQC, today (10/30/2017), is National Candy Corn Day.

The candy is made using corn syrup, sugar, water, marshmallows, fondant and palm wax.

George Renniger of the Wunderle Candy Company created the treat in the late 1800s. His goal was to celebrate the beauty of corn and the autumn colors.

Love them or hate them, they are always going to be here and aren't going any where any time soon. I personally like to bite off the different colors starting with the white tips.
