Many of us have a soft spot for animals, and I love to see when the community comes together to help shelters that help rehome these animals. You can show your support with the Kings Harvest Pet Rescue No Kill Shelter at their yard sale this weekend.

About  Kings Harvest Pet Rescue

No-kill shelters are such a great thing. It gives these furry friends a longer chance to find them forever home. The Kings Harvest family is always hosting different events that you can help with.

A quick description on their facebook states,

To serve the poor and homeless in the Quad Cities. Providing for the community, by meeting their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.

Many of the donations you do with Kings Harvest Pet Rescue usually offer a reward of some sort which is great to see. It's a small gesture to say thank you for your help.

King’s Harvest is a 501C(3) non-profit organization. Much of our support is from the community churches, schools, businesses, grants and individual support.

Volunteering

Volunteers are the back bone of King’s Harvest Ministries. Every week it takes anywhere from 80 to 130 volunteers to serve the homeless and the poor in the Quad Cities.

Events

Even showing sport at these events can help!

Up The Hill Of The Bix Seven

We started to see the runners a little after 8 a.m. and boy was there a lot of them!

The Bix 7 Coming Back

Now we get to see those we may have missed in the big crowds at the start as the groups start to shrink in the second half. Shout out to those who led the run!
