Who Has The Best Holiday Lights in Rock Island?

If you've seen an extra special light display in Rock Island, you can nominate it for this local contest. The display can be a business or home, but hurry you only have until 5 p.m Friday.

Rock Island’s Beautification Commission is sponsoring the 34th annual Holiday Lighting Contest and they want to hear about the best displays

To nominate a residential or commercial light display, email the creator's name and address to douglass.kathryn@rigov.org or call 309-732-2905 by 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13.

Judging will take place on the evening of Dec. 16, when all displays should be illuminated by 5:30 p.m.

Winners of the 2017 and 2018 Holiday Lighting Contest are not eligible to enter.
