The Iowa Department of Transportation wants you to drive safely, but they aren't going to pay you to do that.

Usually the text includes link for you to click. The Iowa DOT says don't click on the link. They aren't sending you texts and they aren't paying you for your good driving record.

The DOT also wants to remind us, don't look at that text while you're driving either. Once you're stopped safely, delete the text and go about your day.
